I basically prepared for this thing all weekend. By that I mean I was actually creating my portfolio and worrying my butt off about it the whole time. My parents helped a lot, since they know what to expect.
On monday, the whole fam headed to Toronto. We stayed at a hotel that night, and killed time around the city before me and my dad had to go to the interview at 1:45pm at OCAD.
We went together to the 6th floor, where there was an area for people to wait. It was full of scared artists all around my age and their parents. I signed in and sat down. A few seconds after my butt hit the seat, my name was called by a guy with a clipboard. So I took my stuff, and he led me to a room full of around a dozen large tables with a chair on either side. Kids were in there with their art all set up on the tables, and a few teachers went around interviewing them.
I was sent to the table in the far back corner. I set up my portfolio, sketchbook and laptop and waited patiently to be interviewed. It was frightening, but I kept my cool better than most. (I'm pretty used to being in the building, so...)
Anyway, you have to be interviewed by two people before you leave. First, I was interviewed by this oldish guy. He was more difficult. He asked me difficult philosophical questions about my work, and he wasn't very responsive at all. That wasn't great. Then I was interviewed by a younger lady, who was a little more responsive and asked easier questions. That wasn't so bad.
Needless to say, I didn't feel too confident when I left. I went across the street, met my dad and left. End of sad story...
Thank you for listening.

Ah music! A magic far beyond what we do here. ~ Dumbledoor
A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence.
I dunno, the guy had this like wacko norwegian-like accent... and glasses, I think. From what I remember. OH and he had a beard.
